The Conference of Miletus was a series of short, informative lectures given by members of the Thales Academy leadership team on ideas relating to classical education. This year, the theme of the conference was the cardinal virtues of courage, justice, prudence, and temperance. The speakers included Robert Luddy, Winston Brady, Anthony Esolen, and Kellie Scripter.

On October 10th from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm, Thales Academy hosted the Fall Classical Summit. Our Fall Classical Summit is for classical teachers and parents of all backgrounds. Topics will include pedagogy, classroom management, and curriculum-centered presentations that will cover a wide range of fields including humanities, science, mathematics, and STEM. In short, we hope to celebrate all the areas that revolve around the life, values, and virtues of classical education.

The Second Annual Southeastern Consortium of Classical Educators Conference occurred August 1-2, 2025. Conference attendees gathered for an evening panel discussion on Friday, August 1 (5-9pm). On Saturday, the Conference met at Franklin Academy in Wake Forest, NC from 8am-4pm. Conference attendees heard from four plenary speakers, and participated in two breakout sessions. This conference had a total of twelve contact hours, and satisfies an eight hours of Thales Academy PD.
